This Privacy Policy explains how Wcomm Gerenciamento de Sistemas Digitais Ltda. ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of ClosetCam, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the ClosetCam mobile application (the "App").
ClosetCam is an AI-powered virtual try-on app. To deliver its core feature, the App sends photos you provide to a third-party AI service. This Policy describes that processing in detail.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Photos you provide: images you capture with the camera (clothing items you want to try on) and images you select from your device library (photos of yourself for the try-on result).
- AI-generated images: the composite try-on results produced by our AI partner from the photos you provide.
- Purchase data: subscription status and transaction records, processed by Apple and managed by RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage and device data: anonymous app interaction events (screens viewed, features used, simulation counts), device identifiers, and basic technical information, collected through PostHog for analytics and product improvement.
ClosetCam does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal identifier beyond the analytics data described above.
How We Use Your Information
- Your photos are used solely to generate try-on results through our AI partner. We do not use your photos for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than producing the try-on you requested.
- Usage and device data are used to understand how the App is used, diagnose issues, and improve the product.
- Purchase data is used to provide access to premium features and manage your subscription.
Third-Party AI Processing (Fashn)
To generate try-on results, ClosetCam sends two images to our AI partner, Fashn AI (operated by Fashn Inc., https://fashn.ai): a photo of yourself selected from your device, and a photo of the clothing item you want to try on. Fashn processes these images using its proprietary AI models and, for certain capabilities, additional third-party AI services. The result, a single composite image of you wearing the new item, is returned to the App.
Before your first try-on, the App asks for your explicit consent to send images to Fashn. You can decline; if you decline, no images are sent and the try-on does not happen.
Key points about how Fashn handles your images:
- Fashn does not use the images you provide, or the images it generates, to train or fine-tune AI models.
- Fashn's third-party AI providers, where used, do not use API inputs to train models by default.
- Fashn stores images on infrastructure located in the United States and the European Union until they are deleted.
- ClosetCam accesses Fashn through its developer API. You do not have a separate Fashn account, and Fashn does not receive your name, email, or any direct personal identifier from us. The data shared with Fashn is limited to the two images required to generate the result.

Other Third-Party Services
In addition to Fashn, we rely on the following providers:
- Apple and RevenueCat: process subscriptions, in-app purchases, and trial periods.
- PostHog: receives anonymous usage events and device identifiers for product analytics. PostHog does not receive your photos.
Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy and applies industry-standard protections to the data it receives.
Data Storage and Retention
- On your device: your wardrobe photos, your simulation history, and your settings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the App removes this local data.
- On Fashn's servers: images sent for processing are stored by Fashn until deletion is requested. See the section above for how to request deletion.
- Analytics data: retained by PostHog according to its standard retention policy. Analytics data is anonymous and does not identify you personally.
- Purchase records: retained as required by applicable financial regulations.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete any image from your wardrobe or simulation history within the App at any time.
- Request deletion of images processed by Fashn on your behalf, by contacting us.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
- Stop all data collection by deleting the App from your device.
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions with data protection laws have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, and request a copy of their personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Children's Privacy
ClosetCam is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
